We accept instructions from solicitors, in-house lawyers, patent and trade mark attorneys, public access and other approved bodies

To instruct a member of chambers, please contact the clerks who will be able to advise you accordingly.

Chambers accepts instructions by post, fax or email. Our policy is to acknowledge receipt of instructions immediately so, if you do not receive a prompt response from us, please telephone to confirm that your instructions have been received.

Barristers are not permitted by their Code of Conduct to accept certain types of instructions, such as instructions to conduct litigation or to gather evidence. For further details, please refer to the Bar Council’s website.

Please note that due to recent changes in the Law Society guidelines, Hogarth Chambers now accepts instructions and briefs on a contractual basis and in accordance with its Terms and Conditions.
