Ontro Ltd v Delta Air Lines, Inc. O/1083/23 – trade marks, appeals, Brexit, estoppel, Henderson v Henderson, stays, and consolidated opposition and invalidity actions. Becky successfully appeared as sole counsel for Ontro against leading and junior counsel in this appeal before the Appointed Person.
AKG Food Limited v P. & B. FOODS HOLDINGS LIMITED O/0143/25 and O/0922/255 – trade marks, invalidity actions, reputation, passing off, proof of use. Becky appeared as counsel for the successful proprietor, AKG, defending an invalidity action against its registered AKG device mark. Becky later acted as counsel for the successful Respondent (AKG), defeating the appeal against the Hearing Officer’s decision.
Bower Collective Limited v Sugi Group AB (Claim No: IP-2023-000116) – trade marks, infringement, likelihood of confusion, reputation, passing off. Becky appeared as counsel for the Claimant, Bower, in the Case Management Conference for this claim.
The Elizabeth B. Ford Charitable Trust v BF Marken GmBH – trade marks, invalidity actions, oppositions, well known marks, acquiescence. Becky appeared as counsel for The Elizabeth B. Ford Charitable Trust in a Case Management Conference convened by the UK IPO to determine a number of complex issues in consolidated cancellation actions regarding the BETTY FORD name.
Caprice Holdings Limited v SEXY COFFEE LTD O/0915/25 – trade marks, oppositions, likelihood of confusion, reputation, proof of use. Becky appeared as counsel for the Opponent, Caprice Holdings, in this opposition to an application for the sign SEXY COFFEE on the basis of its SEXY FISH and SEXY PIZZA marks, securing partial rejection of the application on the basis of a likelihood of confusion.
National Wealth Fund v Gary Walker O/0712/25 – trade marks, procedural hearings, strike out. Becky appeared as counsel for the National Wealth Fund in this hearing to determine whether the IPO should uphold its preliminary view to strike out Mr Walker’s opposition. Following the hearing, the IPO struck out the opposition.
W Sternoff LLC v Peter Kertels O/0984/25 – trade marks, oppositions, proof of use, appeals. Becky appeared as counsel for the Appellant, in this appeal before the Appointed Person, successfully overturning the Hearing Officer’s finding that the Appellant had not proven genuine use in the Registry proceedings below.
Locksley Distilling Company Limited v 58 and Co O/1143/25 – trade marks, oppositions, distinctive character, appeals. Becky appeared as counsel for the Appellant, in this appeal before the Appointed Person, successfully overturning the opposition decision below.
DRYROBE LIMITED v CAESR GROUP LIMITED (TRADING AS D-ROBE OUTDOORS) [2025] EWHC 3167 (IPEC) – trade marks, infringement, passing off, invalidity, revocation, genericism, descriptiveness. Becky was instructed as sole counsel on behalf of the Defendant in this claim alleging infringement and passing off of the Claimant’s DRYROBE brand, and counterclaim alleging that the trade marks were invalid and/or had become generic.

Bond Turner v (1) Patrick Maginn and (2) McDermott Smith Law Ltd – interim injunctions, imaging orders, breach of confidence. Becky was instructed as junior counsel in the Kings Bench Division at Manchester on behalf of the Second Defendant, led by Simon Malynicz K.C, and successfully resisted an application for interim relief, including an imaging order, in a claim for breach of confidence.
Clare Page v (1) The Information Commissioner and (2) School of Sexuality Education [2025] UKUT 308 (AAC) – confidential information, freedom of information request, appeals. Becky was instructed as junior counsel in the Upper Tribunal on behalf of the Appellant, led by Jonathan Moss and Zoe Gannon. The appeal concerns the refusal of the Appellant’s access to materials used to teach her daughter sex education.
